Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union is a membership organization. An individual must be eligible to join before OCFCU can provide them with financial services.

Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union’s field of membership includes any person connected with the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and/or Diocesan parishes, schools, or organizations. The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland consists of eight counties in Northeastern Ohio; Lake, Cuyahoga, Summit, Lorain, Geauga, Medina, Wayne and Ashland.
The field of membership shall be limited to those having the following common bond:

Members, current and retired employees, or volunteers of any parish within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland
Students, current or retired employees, or volunteers of any school within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland
Members, current or retired employees, or volunteers of any Catholic organization (corporate or legal entity) within the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland (i.e., Catholic hospitals, cemeteries, charities, etc.)
Members of the immediate family (i.e., spouse, child, parent, or sibling) or household of current members
Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union
Current and retired employees or volunteers of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland
Current and retired employees or volunteers of Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union
Members of the immediate family (i.e., spouse, child, parent, or sibling) or household of current or retired employees of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland or Ohio Catholic Crdit Union

To apply for membership, simply complete the application form and return it to the credit union along with a check or money order for your initial deposit of at least $5.00. In accordance with the USA Patriot Act, you are required to provide (A) & (B) of the following information when opening a new account by mail:

(A) Notarized copy of your drivers' license or other valid government issued identification.
(B) Notarized copy of a billing statement, such as a cable, telephone or utility company bill.

Only you can assure your friends and your family that Ohio Catholic is a trusted financial partner and will help them achieve their financial needs and goals. Because your endorsement and support of the credit union are very important to us, we will deposit $20 into your shared account for each referral that becomes a member of the Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union Family. You will also be entered into a drawing at the end of the quarter for a $500 one-year Share Certificate. A $25 minimum deposit is required by the referred applicant in for the member to receive the above referral rewards.
